Open Choice

Choose your school, language and the content of your course: As our Eurocentres Success System is uniform throughout the world, you can easily study at several schools.

  • Course length: 24-48 weeks, 20, 25 or 30 x 50-minutes per week plus 5 lessons of self-study in the media library
  • Course participants: max. 14
  • Eurocentres level: 0-9

During an Academic Semester you can combine up to two different schools or languages. During an Academic Year you can combine three to four languages or schools (36 to 37 weeks up to 3 schools / languages, 50 weeks up to 4 schools / languages).
For students selecting Open Choice courses with 25 or 30 lessons, Eurocentres now offers the opportunity to set a different focus during the afternoon lessons. Students can select one of the following areas:

  • general language skills
  • culture
  • technical terms / usage of English for tourism, the legal profession, banking / accounting professions and air traffic control
  • examination preparations

Students choosing 30 lessons a week can even combine two specialisation areas, for example: you want to update your general language skills and prepare yourself for the IELTS exam: simply add 5 general language lessons and 5 IELTS examination preparation lessons to your basic course (20 lessons Basic a week + 5 lessons general + 5 lessons IELTS exam).

If your plans change after the beginning of the course

You choose your area of specialisation for a period of at least 12 weeks. After the 12 weeks you can change your area of specialisation free of charge after consulting your teacher. Should you wish to change before the end of the 12-week term, a rebooking fee will be charged, as stated in our General Terms and Conditions. An exception are the Intensive courses. For at least 12 weeks you book one or two Intensive courses. After this period you you choose another Intensive course.
